We visited here on 5th June 2017. We had a £9.50 Sun holiday and upgraded...You have to go down a narrow lane for 1 and a half miles to get to the site so be careful dodging other cars. Also, there is a train line adjacent to the camp with trains going through frequently but to be honest it didn't interfere with us. We didn't see any security about either. when we arrived the caravan was small. It had double glazing and central heating (which was the upgrade). It seemed clean, but on closer inspection the window blinds hadn't been cleaned, neither had the heated towel rail in the bathroom...it had dust and urine splashes up it !
Even the glass on the front door was dirty. We had to report our mattress was lumpy and very uncomfortable to Reception, and the receptionist told us they wouldn't have any spare mattresses and suggested we put a quilt underneath ! When I rang an hour later because I stayed in waiting for the housekeeper to arrive, they knew nothing about my complaint. Anyway, within 20 minutes the lovely housekeeper arrived with a brand new mattress..Thankyou to her.

Camarthen bay is not a beach...its an estuary and quite dirty, so I wouldn't recommend sunbathing here. There is a very expensive Nisa shop on site, amusements and restaurant and pool for the kids. Strangely, there were decrepit old chalets with estuary views, and the nicer looking caravans at the back.
You need a car to get around as it's quite remote. It takes an hour or so to drive to Tenby but it's worth it...the place is stunningly beautiful with 4 beaches to choose from. The nearest superstore is in Carmarthen or Llanelli. All in all I wouldn't come back here because I like a lot more activity and a lovely beach and clean sea.
